Mount Litera Zee School, Islampur has state of the art residential facilities. At Mount Litera Zee School, Islampur, we have separate residential facilities for boys and girls. We have both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned residential facilities. Residential facility at Mount Litera Zee School, Islampur is a home away from home.
Our wardens and matrons are committed to creating a home-like atmosphere in our boarding facilities. They provide guidance, support, and supervision, ensuring the well-being and safety of every student. Safety and security are of paramount importance in our hostels. The common areas of the hostel such as the dining hall, lobby, corridor, etc. are under CCTV surveillance. The entire school campus including the hostels is under serious vigilance by a team of well-trained and well-equipped security personnel. Supervised day outings during the school hours and during games allow students to explore and learn from the world outside in a secure manner, while supervised extra teaching sessions ensure academic support and excellence, tailored to the individual need of each student.
We have coaching for Kickboxing, Football, dance, music, etc. for our hostellers. In addition to these, we have Yoga session daily in the morning to foster mental and emotional well-being of each and every child residing in our hostels.
We provide healthy, nutritious and delicious food (having the perfect blend of fruits, vegetables, eggs, fishes, meat, nuts, cottage cheese, etc.) to the children staying in our hostel. We have a well-researched menu for the entire week designed by qualified dieticians that incorporates most of the essential macronutrients and micronutrients needed by a child to lead a healthy and vibrant life such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals, minerals, antioxidants, etc.
We have recreation facilities for our students such as T. V., indoor and outdoor games. We at Mount Litera Zee School, Islampur believe that sports play a pivotal role in fostering improved cognitive functions. As a result, we have regular games sessions for our boarders aimed at sharpening their acumen and improving their concentration level. We also have supervised outings for our boarders once in a while to help them get rid of monotone and come back to the hostel with increased fervour and zeal.
Hostel Facilities
Admissions are granted to students based on the following assessments:
- Air conditioned & Non Air conditioned Rooms (separate hostel for Boys and Girls).
- Trained and Experienced Hostel in-charge and care takers.
- I-care trained care takers.
- Regular monitoring of every Child is there.
- Morning Yoga, and Exercises are done to rejuvenate the body.
- Special study hours with teachers are provided to Hostelers.
- Workshops, Sessions by specialists and professional are done on different fields.
- Various Sports coaching class are provided in the evening daily.
- Special Music/Dance classes available.
Zee Home Rules and Regulations
Zee Home Meals
All meals provided at the Hostel are healthy, hygienic and sumptuous. An array of cuisines are served to the students such as Indian, Chinese and Continental, prepared in a modern mechanized kitchen.
Healthy, hygienic, nourishing, Non Vegetarian and Vegetarian meals are provided.
The meal are provided 4 times a day- Breakfast, Lunch, Hi-Tea, Dinner.
Zee Home Medi Care
Medi-care is provided to Hostelers whenever needed. Hostelers are not allowed to keep and take medicines/tonics with out the knowledge of the hostel warden / medical officer.
Hostel warden should be intimated prior by the parent in case of any timely medication of their ward.
Parents are requested to share the health related major issues and medication done or being done related to their child at the time of admission failing which if found later admission will be cancelled.
In case of certain disease or infirmity, mental defect, insomnia or sleep walking, fits or convulsion, lung trouble, epilepsy, asthma, tonsillitis and bed-wetting admission may be denied or if already admitted will be cancelled in the overall interest of other students.
For ordinary ailments parents are not informed. If a student is admitted to the hospital, information will be sent to the guardian. All correspondence should be addressed to the principal /in-charge.
Behaviour and Discipline
Students are not allowed to keep cash with them. No money is to be given to them and no money should be sent directly to the students. Any unauthorized money found with the students will be confiscated. Borrowing or lending of money and other personal belongings from each other is strictly prohibited.
The school to be intimated immediately if there is any change of correspondence address and contact phone numbers.
Students are not allowed to keep transistors, cameras, mobiles, or other expensive articles with them in the school campus.
Harassment, thieving, teasing or any form of ill treatment inflicted on juniors or other students will constitute a serious offence and may result in the expulsion from school.
Hostelers are expected to display acceptable form of behaviour, maintain discipline and decorum in the hostel complex.
Hostelers will follow the daily routine of the hostel and school unless exempted on medical grounds or recommendation of the hostel warden.
Parents will be fined and the student can be suspended or expelled for scribbling graffiti on the walls, usage of foul language, unruly movement in the corridors.
Zee Home Attire
Private clothes are not allowed during class hours. Separate dress will be for the Special class and for the rest of the hours.
Specific Dress for specific activity should be worn. School uniform for school hours. Sports uniform for Sports coaching and morning conditioning.
Hosteller should have one traditional attire with him/her, one casual attire.
Boys should have one pair of white Kurta-Pajama, and Girls should have one pair of white Kurta, dupatta and leggings.
Belongings
Hostellers must carry their own stationaries. Borrowing will not be entertained.
Parents Visits
The parents would be allowed to meet the child only once in a month on Saturday/ Sunday between 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM so that the routine is not disturbed. Talking to the child on telephone will be allowed on every fort night. Parents and guardians are not allowed to meet their wards directly in their hostels.
To help the new students to adjust themselves in a new environment, parents and guardians are requested not to visit their ward till forth night after their admission.
Parents are advised not to visit school after 6:00 PM as school main gate may not open to allow parents to enter inside the school campus.
Reporting To School
The children can be taken home during the summer vacation or on other vacation (if applicable) on the given dates only and not at any other times for the benefit of the child’s education and the school’s discipline. The parents will be required to bring back the students after vacations on the given dates, without fail.
Zee Home Sports
